Alumni Sharing

Our fourth graduating cohort alumna, Malivan Kawru (Puyuma), has been the host of Navalj: Voice of Austronesia on Alian Radio FM96.3, the Southern Regional Station of Taiwan Indigenous Radio, since 2025. The program features Indigenous community members, scholars, and professionals who share their diverse experiences, knowledge, and perspectives.

One of the program's featured segments, "Family Conversations," is co-hosted by our second graduating cohort alumna Liao Hsiao-Wen (Madraw, Paiwan), who holds an Advanced-Level Indigenous Language Proficiency Certification. Through relaxed and engaging conversations, the segment explores Indigenous languages, cultures, and everyday life while fostering meaningful dialogue and cultural exchange.

Beginning in 2026, the program will launch a new series titled Praise Formosa, co-hosted by our fourth graduating cohort alumna Tai Yu-Ling (Ivi). This new initiative will further expand the program's content and broaden its cultural perspectives.

Looking ahead, the program will continue inviting current students and alumni of the Executive Master's Program in Indigenous Studies to share their personal stories, academic journeys, and life experiences. Through these conversations, the program showcases the diversity, vitality, and collective strength of our learning community. We warmly invite you to stay tuned and support the program.
