【Highlights of the 2024 International Mother Language Day Award Recipients ✨】

In active response to the 2024 International Mother Language Day, the Indigenous Languages Research and Development Foundation has worked to raise awareness of indigenous languages and create a more supportive environment for indigenous language use.

On February 25, the Foundation held the “2024 International Mother Language Day – Indigenous Language Development Conference” at National Taitung University. During the conference, individuals and organizations from various fields who have made significant contributions to the promotion and development of indigenous languages were recognized.

A total of 20 award recipients and groups received honors for their outstanding efforts in advancing the preservation, revitalization, and promotion of indigenous languages.
