Student Loan Application Guidelines for the Fall Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year

1. Student Loan Information

2. Eligibility

Applicants are eligible for a student loan if the combined annual income for the previous year of the following individuals does not exceed NT$1.2 million (inclusive):

• the student;
• the student's parents (or spouse if the student is married).

The student's own employment income is included in the income calculation.

Applicants whose combined annual income exceeds NT$1.2 million should refer to the detailed guidelines on the University website.

3. Application and Bank Verification

Students must reapply and complete bank verification every semester.

The application process consists of two steps:

(1) University Application

Application Period: August 14 – September 5, 2025

Please log in to the Student Affairs Online Service System:

https://sis.nsysu.edu.tw/ONAMS/index.php

Complete the student loan application, enter the required loan information, and print or download the Student Loan Application Form.

(2) Bank Verification

After the University's tuition payment slip becomes available for download (please do not pay the tuition first), complete the loan verification through the Bank of Kaohsiung.

Verification Periods

Early Verification
(Applicable to undergraduate freshmen through seniors, master's and doctoral students without course credit fees, EMPP students, and EMBA students)

• August 14 – September 5, 2025

Mid-Semester Verification
(Applicable to undergraduate students enrolled in the Teacher Education Program, students extending their studies, master's and doctoral freshmen, and master's/doctoral students with course credit fees)

• During the course credit fee payment period

4. Submission of Loan Application Documents

(1) Submission Deadline

On or before September 5, 2025

(3) Documents Required

Please scan all documents as PDF files or insert image files into a Word document before uploading.

Required documents include:

1. Student Loan Application Form (portrait orientation)
2. A copy of the student's bank account passbook cover page
   (Not required if no additional loan is requested for books, off-campus housing, living expenses, etc.)
3. One of the following household registration documents, including all registration records:
   • A copy of the new-format Household Registration Transcript (most recently updated after March 2014); or
   • A copy of a new-format Household Registration Certificate issued within the past three months (issued after June 2025).

(4) Bank of Kaohsiung Loan Disbursement Notice (Second Copy)

Applicable only to students completing early verification.

• Online verification: Upload the electronic copy through the document submission website.

• In-person verification: Submit the original second copy to:

  Room 5008, 5th Floor, Administration Building

  (Registered mail is accepted.)

  Students may submit this document no later than the Friday of the first week of the semester.

5. Important Reminder

Applicants who fail to submit the required documents by the deadline will be regarded as having withdrawn their application.

For documents sent by registered mail, the postmark date will be used to determine whether the submission meets the deadline.
