Applicants must complete the tuition waiver application before paying tuition and miscellaneous fees.

3. Important Notes by Applicant Category

(1) Students with Disabilities or Children of Persons with Disabilities

Applicants are eligible only if their total household annual income for the previous year does not exceed NT$2.2 million.

Please note that children of persons with disabilities who are enrolled in In-Service Master's Programs are not eligible for tuition and fee waivers.

(2) Duplication of Government Financial Assistance

Students who apply for tuition and fee waivers under the Regulations Governing Tuition and Miscellaneous Fee Waivers for Students and who are also eligible for other government subsidies or benefits of a similar nature may receive only one type of financial assistance.

Tuition and fee waivers take priority, and applicants must choose only one form of assistance.

In addition, students who have already received a tuition waiver during the same semester are not eligible to apply again due to re-enrollment, transfer, or transfer to a lower academic level.

(3) Children of Deceased Military Personnel, Civil Servants, or Public School Teachers

Returning students in this category must submit a new application form every semester.

Bereavement pension certificates must remain valid. Students whose pension eligibility has been extended must submit both:

  • the original pension certificate; and
  • the official extension approval document.

(4) Low-Income and Special Family Status Applicants

Students applying under any of the following categories:

  • Low-income households;
  • Lower-middle-income households; or
  • Children from families in special circumstances,

must ensure that their supporting certificates remain valid through December 31, 2025.

4. Submission of Supporting Documents

Applicants whose supporting documents are incomplete must submit the missing documents to the Campus Life and Career Development Division, Office of Student Affairs before the application deadline.
